They stuck because sinks generally have a tubular type of base and curved shaped pipe for draining purpose. Hot water pouring in a sink is another option. You can put a bucket of hot water in the sink but make sure that the water must not be boiling. Besides hot water, if your problem is not solved make a mixture of caustic soda (sodium hydro oxide) with water. If it doesn't work the next step which is more sophisticated is to remove the trip lever, make sure that P- shaped trap and all pipes are clear.
Place an empty bucket under the P-shaped trap to catch water. Now flush water from the top of the sink with enormous pressure, during the water falling keep the flexible rod in your hand and make push and pull in the drain and pipes of sink. The pressurized water with moving around rod will help in eliminating all types of waste material from the pipes of sink which are causing sink blockade.
